Piescream Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Appearance: This is some of the most beautiful green flower I’ve seen in a long time. There were some chunky tops in my eighth but even the smalls were pretty. Everything was just dripping with resin with lighter bright greens mixed in with deeper olive hues that just beautifully accent this stunning sample. The flowers themselves were medium in density but they brown down pretty easily by hand and really well in the mill.
Aroma: This is definitely the best smelling tree of the year thus far! The shop where I picked this up from had sample jars to smell and this one about knocked me off my feet. Loud is an understatement. This stuff screams candied peach preserves with a some sherbet ice cream mixed in there. There’s also syrupy cherries with a little bit of a limey zest. That’s all accented with a sweet pine that rounds out the profile really well. The pungency of this flower is pretty remarkable. Even leaving a few nugs out on the counter just made my house reek in the best way possible.
– [ ] Taste/smokeability: Surprisingly the cherries came through first for me with some of that key lime flavor coming in afterwards. I can still find the peaches in there but it was fainter than I expected. Then there’s mouth coating piney doughiness that was almost akin to pie crusts. Not bad at all! The flavor had legs too. There was no dying of the flavor halfway down the roll. It stayed juicy all the way down the glass tip.
– [ ] Effect: This one was heavier than I gave it credit for. With the amazing nose and flavor I just assumed it would be a little a on the mellow side but it is pretty heavy. It’s settles in and your eyes start to droop. How I know it’s good is that it actually makes me hungry. But like a teenage level of hungry. It’s unholy. Aside from that is really relaxes the muscles in my shoulders and makes me feel ready to sleep even midday. This one is good for anyone who wanting to enjoy a rainy day inside.
– [ ] Overall: I’ve heard good things about this brand for years but have never been able to find anything from them in stores near me for the longest time until today! The place that has the jars has samples so I was able to smell before I bought and that sealed the deal. Close to 5% terps is insane for flower. There’s some hash that doesn’t have that. Their stellar reputation is well deserved. If you see this one buy it. It’s worth it. 🤙🏻
