“Weird” Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Score- 82%
Aroma-
This strain has a pretty complex aroma. Initially, I am picking up a bright nose that smells like fresh cleaning product mixed with orange or sherbet. Every time I inhale my senses are filled with the aroma, meaning its terpenes are consistent. When I put it through my Flower Mill, a less bright aroma was released introducing a touch of gas which surprised me. I started to pick up a smooth earthy nose that balanced out the initial bright aroma perfectly. An overall aroma of the infamous bright candy smell that Zkiitlez brings with the gas coming from the Blue Zushi and the LCG comes in later in the effects bringing on euphoria.
Flavors-
The flavor profile of “Weird” brought such a different taste from the aroma which made it unique. With how bright the terps are in the aroma, the flavor coming in with a deeper earthy and sweet flavor really threw a nice twist. You don’t get any of the fresh cleaning product, orange, sherbet, or even candy from the aroma. Its a earthy kind of sweetness which I enjoyed. The exhale was strong but I will say some hits weren’t that smooth creating a rough smoking experience at times.
Effects-
This strain is a versatile hybrid that brings out the different genetics in their unique way. There was a all over euphoric buzz that felt good. It had me uplifted but also relaxed. It increases motivation and function a little bit without any jittery energetic effects. The eye pressure was very light so you wont feel super shut out or slumped. I enjoyed smoking this during the day, or if I wanted some euphoric and creative effects. Not super potent, but definitely put me where I needed to be.
Overall-
To wrap it up, “Weird” was a solid smoke that is bright on the smell, sweet and earthy on the taste, and euphoric, creative, and relaxing on the effects. The harshness on some hits does lower its score, but the solid effects and aroma help pick it back up. I think these genetics cross well together, they just need to figure out how to make it smoke a tad cleaner. I have another strain from them called “PKSM” which I will be reviewing some time this or next week. Cheers!
