Score 4.6/5 Appearance: This stuff brings me back. It has a very chemmy OG structure. Spongey golf ball nugs with a decent amount of give to them. The coloration ranges from hues of olive and wintergreen with hints of purple from the 41. When breaking it down with a flower mill it was fluffy, green and pliable. I’m really a fan of this one. The trim job wasn’t the best but I just knew right when I saw it that it was something special.
Score 4.8/5 Aroma: Now this is one of those smells that I would classify as subtle but complex. It doesn’t smack you in the face when opening the jar but when you put your nose in it it is strong. Classic OG kush fragrance. There are hints of sweet mint Meyer lemon and evergreen pine. Underneath the OG I’m picking up a bit of confectionery sweetness from the G41 like almost a cinnamon hazelnut sugar cookie. I feel like this is a great modern take on a classic terpene profile.
4.9/5 Taste/smokeability: The smoke is real nice and flavorful. The first thing that I tasted was a kind of mentholated lemon balm that coated my tongue with a strong grassy flavor as well. There was a kind of cinnamon earthiness on the backend of it but I’d say that Stardawg/OG were the dominant flavors. This one has some moderate expansion. I tried it out of paper as well as glass and it wasn’t a lungbuster by any means but it definitely has a little bite that lets you know it’s there. Out of the paper it burned even and smooth. Same with out of the mobius.
Score 4.9/5 Effect: This is flower that is to be respected. It comes at you like a uppercut from Iron Mike. There’s no avoiding it this will leave you undeniably stoned. Red eyes dry mouth delayed reaction time. The whole bit. It reminds Of when I first tried SFV OG when I was visiting family in LA it is so strong I would not recommend using it before anything important you have to do. I can feel the muscles relax in my face and the slow rhythm of my breath is almost hypnotic enough to make me want to sleep. The physical aspect is strong but the mental is on the same level. I would say it’s just a potent as certain sedative anxiolytics. This is probably my favorite new sleep medicine. Glad I decided to try something new.
Overall score: 19.2/20 or 96% Solid A just on the verge of A+. I’m very honored to be the first to review this new strain from fig farms. I love anything OG and Fig Farms always throws it down.
