Having overall enjoyed the pink and original Jalebi counterparts by The Baydestrians, I was interested to see how the blue variant fared. With the branding based on the original Jalebi design, but in blue. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a rush of sweet candy, delivering sweet notes of cherries infused with faintly sour blueberries and raspberries, alongside an earthy and creamy Gelato with fizzy citrus and menthol traits. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of medium green, alongside hues of blue and purple, with messy rustic pistils and absolutely covered in a thick layer of glistening trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a syrupy candy infusion of cherries alongside a tangy and sourly mix of blueberries and raspberries, accompanied by a creamy and citrus Gelato earthiness. The taste of this berry infused candy was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both fairly smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Blue Jalebi to exhibit its lineage effectively, delivering a berry dominant syrupy LCG. With a little further dialling in, primarily on the smoothness, BJ can be further improved and have potential to remain a staple of The Baydestrian’s Jalebi lineup. I would say the Original Jalebi is my favourite.
