It’s the most wonderful time of the year for nerds like us. Harvest is over, deps are reaching nice levels of cure and full term is just around the corner! We’re kicking the new review season off with a phenomenal cultivar grown by the team at @zen_pharm out in Southern Oregon’s Illinois Valley.

Blue Limes Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
The official name is Blue Limonene, however the farm opted to go with Blue Limes as something that would be easier for customers and retailers alike.
Appearance: These buds are tightly structured, uniform in shape and a beautiful, deppy, lime green color. Trichome coverage and integrity are moderate. The jar appeal is real.
Aroma: Fruit and floral aromas dominate, while earth and fuel accents add to the overall complexity. Lemon, lime, watermelon & green apple dance with magnolia, gardenia and orange blossoms. Notes of dank soil and wet stones exist as well. “Clean Scent” laundry soap comes to mind.
Flavor: The nose is well represented on the dry hit and smoke. A diverse blend of citrus fruits and creamy white floral notes are prevalent from the first hit. The Lemon Tree heritage (one of the Melonatta parents) is very noticeable in this particular pheno, with a trademark blend of lemon and nutty miso flavors joining the party. The flavor is consistent from start to finish and never gets hot or ashy. It’s remarkable how consistent it is until the very end.
Experience: Within 10 minutes of finishing a sesh, you may notice a considerable head change and tingly sensations from head to toe. It comes on strong, but is easy to adjust to. The blissful primary effect can last more than an hour, followed by several hours of enjoyable afterglow. From rolling, to consuming, to enjoying the chemistry, this provides a unique and enjoyable experience.
