Freeze Cup Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Freeze Cup had me interested when I saw it was a Styrofoam Cup cross as I love that cut from TEG. The other genetic is Fuzzy Melon which I guessed was a brighter/sativa leaning smoke but Ive never tried it. Opening the jar I was hit with a super loud and pungent nose that smelt like bright citrus melons, almost too bright for my liking. But don’t get it twisted, still a very nice aroma. When I started to break down the nugs, I believe the Styrofoam Cup comes out as I picked up a deep sherbet that was very funky.
The flavor was crazy terpy and had the same notes from its aroma producing a bright melon sherbet exhale and aftertaste. The smoke was clean, smooth, and had no harshness.
Freeze Cup’s high is a medium powered buzz that is ideal for smoking during the daytime. It lightly zaps your senses to increase focus, creativity, and euphoria while also trying to relax your body. I noticed myself smoking it in low doses as I was testing that bright/sativa genetic because I don’t usually pick them up. It kept me focused and clear minded, but once it got later in the night I would keep this away.

Freeze Cup was an interesting and different smoke for me. I always stick with gassy, funky, sweet, earthy, and sherbet like strains, but I like to force myself to step out of the box sometimes and try something brighter or more citrusy. But honestly I would not pick it up again as It was just alright to me. If I wanted a motivational day smoke I would smoke something that I can chief on all day without being over stimulated or racy, and I feel like this strain was just a good fruity tasting smoke that might be good to mix with some heavier flower to add flavor. But like I said, I have my preference on the terps I like in my weed just like everyone else, so let me know your thoughts if you smoked Freeze Cup. Cheers 💨
