Cultivar Review: GG4 by Sunnabis

Monday SAP — Travel and a bomb cyclone prevented me from posting yesterday. This week’s #SAP entry is GG4 from @sunnabis although I was unaware at the time of assessment! Well, sort of. You see, I tasted something familiar in the terroir that immediately took me back to Benbow Valley. Lineage/Genetics: Sour Dubb x Chem’s Sister x Chocolate Diesel Original Breeder: GG Strains Grower: Sunnabis Terpene Profile: Unknown

Sunnabis GG4 Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

It looks pretty, and smells nice. It was just a bit drier than I’d prefer. The flavor was a happy surprise with those hints of stone fruit and tea tree oil coming through much stronger than the aroma! Another thing I noticed is that I get these light euphoric tingles on my skin every time I smoke @sunnabis flower. It’s happy cannabis! My favorite part of my assessment this week was the validation I got from the council, and how close my score was from theirs (0.5 points away). I learned that being a daily pipe smoker, joints are much smoother and that will impact my scoring! #ganjier #cannabis #sommelier #connoisseur

I'm a Certified Ganjier who is passionate about craft and legacy cannabis farms in Humboldt and Mendocino counties. My plant knowledge and expertise cover a range of disciplines such as history, botany, genetics, service, and cultivation while my work history demonstrates technical skills and leadership prowess.

I'm looking for impactful opportunities in Humboldt or Mendocino that will give me energy. Quality assessment is the aspect I'm most drawn to, so maintaining those skills is very important to me. Ideally I'd like to be in a role where I can interact with farmers, budtenders, and consumers, like an on-staff Ganjier at a lounge or maybe for a distributor. Being able to check quality at various stages from farm to retail shelf is huge, but at the end of the day caring about the people I work with is the biggest priority.
