LimeZ Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Appearance: We see high scores across the visual categories on this one. Trichome coverage is dense, integrity excellent. The trim is solid and bud maturity as well as condition are at an elite level. Throw in a beautiful light green hue and it all adds up to serious jar appeal.
Aroma: A nice level of intensity gets us off to a good start. Lime, lemon and a sharp menthol/gas note are prevalent. There’s also paint thinner, dust, dough, nutmeg and clove. As you break it down, the lemon takes a candied direction, while floral notes of gardenia and pear blossom come in.
Flavor: IG post length is limited and there’s too much going on here to get super deep, but think about a melange of tangy citrus flavors alongside ginger ale, peach, forest floor, pine, balsa wood & fresh mint. What I wish we could spend more time on is a range of “autolytic” flavors. These occur in wine that’s been aged “sur lie” (in contact with expired yeast cells). Brioche, pizza dough…definitely surprising and really fun to consume.
Experience: Rapid onset, high intensity and long lasting effects can be expected. It hits body and mind evenly. The legs may shake, but the head remains lucid and social. Dinner or game night at home with friends? Yes please! This is high grade.
