SHANGRI-LA Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Aroma: 4/5
Floral upfront with a light fuel kick and tart citrus back end. Nose was clean and true to the profile, but didn’t smack the senses like top-tier jars.
Break Down: 4/5
Dense, frosty nugs with heavy trich coverage. Broke down sticky but not wet, no shake. Rolled smooth with no issues — structure was on point.
Taste: 3/5
Floral and fuel came through, tart lingered on the exhale, but the flavor was lighter than expected. Burned clean with white ash and resin ring, just lacked that heavy terp punch I was hoping for.
High: 2.5/5
Relaxing body with mild mood lift, but the potency felt like half the strength of what I just had with Chroma. Clear-headed, functional buzz — good for a casual session, not for chasing a real slap.
Duration: 3/5
Solid 45–50 minutes before fading to a light calm. Didn’t hit hard out the gate, so the comedown felt quick compared to heavier hitters.
Overall: 3/5
Shangri-La is frosty, clean, and pretty, but the high just didn’t back up the looks. Coming off Chroma, this felt like 50% of the smoke — still good flower, just not in that same league. Worth a daytime roll, but not something I’d reach for when I want to get blasted.
