Aromas•
The initial aroma is a chalky and fruity smell that is reminiscent of the Flintstone hard nutrition candies from childhood. As I keep smelling a little bit of a sweet pepper is coming out but that part is inconsistent. There is also aromas of dark fruit and purple flowers. This strain has a good amount of complexity and uniqueness and when broken apart the inside of the nugs release a much more pungent purple gasoline like smell.
Flavors•
This strains flavor profile has notes of purple flowers, dark fruit, and light smokiness. It’s a nice profile, but I feel like if there was no smokiness it would be better. The exhale felt like it was a little inconsistent in the sense of smoothness. Some hits were good, but some hits just weren’t as smooth. The aftertaste lingers a little bit, but not as long as I would like.
Effects•
This strain is a hybrid that leans a little on the heavier side, but still has a good amount of energy and euphoria to function. The mental high is more of a slowed down sedated one but still has some euphoria to keep you intrigued in whatever you’re doing. When I went to the gym after smoking this I felt like it was good for heavy lifting but not for cardio as my body and muscles were too relaxed to get super active. The body high is relaxing with a medium powered sedation that relaxes the muscles very well. I didn’t feel too sluggish, but I definitely felt relaxed as the body buzz is pretty strong. I was also able to use this as my nightcap as it was heavy enough for bed time.
Overall•
To conclude I did enjoy smoking on this strain from Preferred Gardens but would I pick it up again? I don’t know. I feel like it was definitely getting the job done, but it wasn’t anything that I was raving about or was super excited to smoke. My favorite part was probably the effects as for me they were versatile to smoke anytime of the day while still having a strong high, and my least favorite part was definitely the flavor and exhale as it wasn’t the smoothest plus the flavor didn’t wow me.
