Next to review from Zaba is their Thoizon Berry Bonkerz. With a slight mix up on the packaging, referencing their cotton candy variant. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a unique scent, delivering a faint citrus earthiness with faint smokey, nutty and sherbet chemical undertones, smelling reminiscent of Pavé. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of light to medium green alongside a faint hues of purple with short rustic pistils and absolutely drenched in a universe of glistening trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a Gelato influenced earthiness with traits of citrus and cream, complemented by traits of Sherbet, peanuts and faint cherries.
The taste of this unique Sherbet, nutty and citrus chemical earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, despite producing a darker than expected shade of ash I overall found TB Bonkerz to deliver a unique nutty, creamy and citrus influenced Gushers effectively, with a possible distant Do-si-dos, Biscotti and Sunset Sherbet lineage. It smoked pleasantly well, ticking most boxes and with a little further dialling in, TBB can only be further improved and remain a distinctive staple of Zaba’s lineup.
