Next to review from The Baydestrians is Z Face, being a cross of the much loved exotic Zkittlez and one of the heaviest hitting OG’s; Face Off OG. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an equal infusion of both Zkittlez and OG, displaying faint notes of cherries infused with cream and grapefruit, complemented by dominant notes of pine and fuel.
The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light and medium green alongside messy rustic pistils and enriched in glistening trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering an OG dominant profile, delivering earthy notes with traits of pine, sour lemon and chemicals, alongside a subdued Zkittlez infusion of grapefruit and faint cherries.
The taste of this piney faint Zkittlez was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I overall found Z Face to deliver an OG piney and sour lemon dominance, exhibiting less of a Zkittlez influence than anticipated. Despite this, it smoked fairly well, ticking some boxes and with some further dialling in required can hopefully be further improved, primarily on taste and remain a staple of the Baydestrians lineup. With it currently catering to those who enjoy an OG dominance with subdued sweet undertones.
