Next to review from the renown cultivator; Humboldt Beginnings and Howling Green, is their newest batch of Zan Pellegrino Limonata. I have used prevoous packaging for illustration purposes, due to no recent branding (jars were made for the UK market). Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an exotic rush of nose tingling zesty lemons, alongside a deep centred pungent earthiness with traits of Skunk, glue and pine. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid and foxtail structure. They were a shade of medium green alongside faint hues of purple with thick messy rustic pistils, covered in an almost white thick coating of shining trichomes.

Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a mouth coating zesty rush of lemons alongside a light floral pine infusiom complemented by a smooth and creamy earthiness with a faint sweet cherry backend. The taste of this exotic zestiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I overall found this recent batch of Limonata to smoke equally, if not better than it’d predecessor delivering its genetics effectively, resulting in the taste of mouth coating lemons. It smoked pleasantly well, ticking all boxes and with minimal dialling in, if even needed, can only be further improved and remain a strong staple of Humboldt Beginnings and Howling Green’s lineup.
