Starting now I’m going to refer to The Real Cannabis Chris as ‘TRCC’ for this review. Transparency: I didn’t know anything about this brand previous to acquiring these 6 jars. I’ve seen these jars on IG in some places but never looked into it due to availability. I’m gonna be honest – I don’t like 1g jars 😑 There’s a few reasons but I’m not going to talk about it here. Working with fresh press is different than cold cure and can be a challenge. It’s sticky asf and adheres to any surface as opposed to cold cure having some moisture to make it easy to move around. TRCC is a brand I’ve seen floating around but never had a chance until now. I believe they are on the West Coast and have ALOT of different strains out on the market. Lot of hype here from community and homies and I’m about to find out the deal! Wish I could tell you more about TRCC but I just don’t know much 🤔
Papaya is a terp I’ve seen alot of this year and is super tasty when done right. This stuff presents as beautiful shiny goop with a nose 👃that’s wildddd. I know it’s Papaya but the smell I get from this is straight up peaches schnapps 🍑 with a hint of fresh grass. Vegetal is a smell I learned from drinking craft beer and learning about hops – and this falls into that category. Interesting smell for sure.This was a Hella smooth dab on the Proxy WOW👌 Can’t say there was much fruity terp taste or Papaya, maybe a little bit? Much more of just a clean fresh press taste <what a shitty descriptor> slightly minerally taste. Idk how I feel about this terp profile. It’s just a new one to me I have never had before 🤔
For being the first fresh press to review, I’m ready to try the next 2 I have available. This jar help set a baseline for me and I’m glad it’s a high quality start. I’m going with a straight score of 7.5 Vegetal/planty isn’t a taste I’m crazy about but nonetheless this was so freshhh and so clean clean! Very impressed thus far 👌
