Not surprisingly, the longer you stay in a place the more things you discover about the cannabis scene. While staying in Germany for close to 2 months, I found Feeling Dank Edibles on Instagram when a German friend shared one of their posts and I sent Feeling Dank a direct message. We messaged back and forth and next thing I knew we planned to meet at a coffee shop because he wanted to give me some of his vegan chocolate edibles. How could I say no?
Turns out the creator wasn’t German but had been living in Berlin for over 5 years. With a passion for cannabis, a medical user and a talent for chocolate making, Feeling Dank Edibles specializes in organic, vegan infused chocolates of a variety of flavours and potencies. He also uses hash rosin to infuse his chocolates for a full spectrum experience.
The chocolate itself was lovely, a pink strawberry flavoured organic vegan chocolate that gently melted on the tongue. The taste of the hash rosin wasn’t masked so much as highlighted by the flavour of the chocolate, the terpenes in the rosin and crunch of the freeze dried strawberry crumbled on the bottom of the bar. I wish I could remember the specific cultivar of hash rosin, he told me but of course I didn’t make note of it anywhere and I’ve forgotten.
At 25mg/per square, these edible was perfect for my tolerance and tasted delicious. The resulting high came on softly like an edible high tends to do and I enjoyed a relaxing body high that included an ever present smile and general satisfaction with life.
You can feel the love that goes into Feeling Dank Edibles, handmade, high quality, organic, ingredients and perfectly paired hash rosin. If I find myself back in Berlin I would definitely seek these out again.
