Edibles Review: Gummie Wise by Ganja Wise

Who doesn’t like an infused candy?  The biggest drawback from the perspective of a Canadian consumer is the high cost and low dosage for legal market edibles. But the legacy market exists, some would argue it thrives, and while you have to cautious with what you’re buying, every so often you find an option that’s hard to beat. Meet Ganja Wise, a family of growers based in the province of Saskatchewan and their Blue Raspberry Indica gummies.  These folks were introduced to me through a good friend of mine, a grower and cannabis advocate who also lives in Saskachewan.  He knows the folks at Ganja Wise well and vouched for the quality of their cannabis and related products.  When I learned that they were doing gummies, I had to try them. The Blue Raspberry Indica gummies were made with whole flower full spectrum extract, the same as they use in their cart and dab products.  The gummies themselves were soft, chewy and fresh and with a mild tartness on account of the sour sugar coating and the flavour of the extract. The non-GMO ingredients are listed on the back of the package and even the cannabinoids and terpenes per gummy.  The bag, a foil lined, kraft paper bag which keeps the gummies fresh for consumption, contained 30 gummies, at 10mg each.  They also have CBD and higher potency gummies for folks who need more milligrams, and vegan options too. While I’m skeptical about the indica and sativa claims (what I find sedating, the next person might not), I do appreciate that they list the terpenes so I can decide for myself how I’ll tolerate the effects. Ordering and shipping was easy and they have great customer service.  There’s not much that I don’t like about Ganja Wise’s gummies and ethos. Plus they have a cool logo. Rating: 8/10
