When I originally bought the jar I admit I didn’t do my homework fully. I seen Orange Sherb x Trix and figured it was a sweet, fruity, candy, and/or orange based strain. But after getting the jar, smelling it, and then looking up the lineage online the old school (but ordinary) chem-gorilla glue profile I was experiencing made much more sense. The profile leads with a musky, funky, chem diesel gas that’s backed up with classic gorilla glue herbal/woody earthy sour “glueiness” with a little bit of kushy lemon pine dankness that’s backed up by a pinch of raunchy funky fuel as well as herbals, spices, and a foody savory mashed potato/vanilla creaminess. I didn’t pick up much of any orange while loosely examining the profile- although sometimes if I buried my nose close enough to it with deep inhales i started to realize there was a hint of earthy (swampy?) musky-sweet purple floral cream (that’s attached to the savory foody cream) that has a little touch of peppery zest on the backend of it, that I guess could be considered ‘orange-sherb’ if you’re being generous. The nose had average nose volume, i wouldn’t consider it loud per se but it was decently smellable with an average presence of classic chem/glue/woody/cream terps that mask the rest of the profile pretty well. Had the orange sherbs lineage shined through a little more in the profile it would’ve been a bit more complex and matched my expectations a little bit more. Although don’t get me wrong- it definitely has some solid gas terps that are enticing with moderate dankness, but the profile in whole just wasnt as loud, complex, or citrusy-sweet as I was originally hoping for with the gorilla glue & chem being dominant and the orange sherb part of the profile being mostly faint.

The session was nice! The oil melts cooks and cashes out clean, burning thoroughly while providing clean, mostly smooth vapor that carries bare minimal roughness from the gas power that’s practically not even noticeable unless you’re really paying attention to it. The flavor profile is a bit better than the aroma profile in regard to profile-clarity, terp-strength, expectations and satisfaction. Again the profile is dominated by musky funky chem, and earthy woody sour veggie dust gorilla glue terps that coat the mouth a decent bit and give the lungs a nice little pressurized expansion that emphasizes those gassy kush breath fuel terps. As the temp falls between 450 & 350 on those last few slurper sips the purple cream that carries a pinch of flat-orange-peppery-zest do become a little more apparent with a little more clarity offered over it as the primary gassy part of the profile fades away, confirming that they really were present in the nose but just happened to be one of the deeper layers of the ‘Terp-Onion’. Overall the session was nice, solid enjoyment! Nothing to crazy but definitely solid and enjoyable smoke.

One thing I do love about ordinary gassy profiles is the heavy and powerful effects. As soon as you exhale your met with a heavy headband pressure that really pushes into the temples, forehead, and behind the eyes. the relaxing body buzz starts from the head & legs and eventually meets in the middle for a full body couch locked relaxation with stress-free anxiety-relief. Effects lasted 2.5 hours off an eyeballed .35g. Super heady and restful buzz. Great medication!

It was definitely a decent, solid jar. It did the job forsure. Truly a nice one for medicating. it’s really clean, smokes/melts really nice, and the effects/potency are super strong and notably enjoyable! Aroma categories could use a little work but tbf I have no actual complaints there either it just wasn’t quite what I was after/expecting. If you’re a gorilla glue lover this one would be right up your alley though! If you’re looking for orange or sweet terps you should probably pick a different variety from their lineup though.

Was it worth the money?

Yes, I got a 30$ discount on it thanks to the homie @sddank420 , which made the final price an easier mark for the flame:ticket ratio to successfully reach. The satisfaction I experienced was definitely worth the 140$ I paid for it, but this one in particular probably would have been a better suited at the 130$ mark.

Would I buy it again?

I typically don’t buy the same jar more than once unless it’s really really special to me. And in this case the terp profile wasn’t quite what I was expecting & wasn’t my preference in general, so with that in mind this specific jar wouldn’t make the cut for a repeat purchase but it was definitely a satisfactory purchase that I enjoyed all the way through to the last dab! – I am definitely going to be seeking out more DinoSquish/VVS as soon as I’m able, they make really great hash with extremely high potential, sometimes you get a pick that’s not quite your flavor preference but that doesn’t change the fact the rosin is super fire with high quality performance! Next time I grab DinoSquish/ VVS I’ll be doing my homework properly to make sure I’m grabbing something that’s more up my alley terp-wise! Stay tuned!!
