Uvas y Crema Rosin Review
Appearance: I’ve been so spoiled with the cold cure I’ve had recently and this one is no different. It has a greasy blonde coloration that’s bordering on white. After letting it sit out a while I played with it a little to get a gauge on the consistency. I scooped a chunk out of my jar and it’s tacky but still pliable. I was able to flick it back in the jar with my finger. Out of the fridge this stuff is pretty chunky but it’ll grease down a bit if you let it get to ambient temps. Aroma: The first thing I think of when I smell this jar is the grape flavored tootsie pops. The ones with the owl in the commercial. It has almost a chocolatey graham cracker type essence. It reminds me a lot of the grape pie from the nose but I’m also picking up a little bit of the cinnamon cookie dough essence from the cookies and cream. Aside from the sweetness there’s kind of a slight herbal dimension to the aroma that comes through as slightly piney with a hint of lavender. As complex as this smell is I wouldn’t classify it as overtly loud but not subtle either. The nose was moderate in its pungency. Taste/Smokeability: Unlike the nose I feel like the chocolate side of this terpene expression comes through first. It kind of reminds my of Hershey’s milk chocolate syrup with a hint of vanilla. The grape shines through right after with some type of sugary hard candy thang going on. After all that that’s a bit of cookie dough graham cracker crust that kind of rounds out the flavor profile. I didn’t really pick up any of the lavender and pine from the nose just all sweetness. Effect: This stuff makes me really tired. 🥱 Even just putting down the emoji made me yawn. This is definitely not the rosin you want to ingest before planned housework. 😂 I’m honestly surprised I had the motivation to write this review tonight because this rosin is some sleepy business. Eyes feel red and my legs feel heavy. Something something Mom’s spaghetti. (Eminem please don’t sue me) All jokes aside this is perfect night cap rosin. It’s been a long day and my old back is aching but after a few dabs of this I’m not really focused on it right now. Munchies are moderate but the desire to lay down is greater. If I wasn’t so tired already I could see this being nice to watch a movie with or maybe play some low stress video games. Overall: I’ve been wanting to try this cultivar for a long time and whenever I do it was either sold out or not available. Glad I chose havehash to break me In on this cultivar because I’m definitely a fan. I’m from a part of Northern California where Bay Area purps are synonymous with grapes. 🍇 this was long before everything was purple and when you saw it you’d usually associate a grapey profile. This wasn’t the grapiest grapes I’ve ever had but I still really enjoy the flavor and effect. Give it a shot if you see it! 🤙Judah Terpson
