Strain Review: Alien Zapples, by Tiki Madman

A great addition to the Tiki Madman lineup in the Midwest. The bag appeal on this was simply too amazing to not want to try. It’s quite interesting seeing the dichotomy and distinction amongst dispos in Michigan that label this as Tiki Madman, whereas some others list this as Backpack Boyz. Even though they’re grown by the same company, they are NOT both Backpack Boyz. I’m not usually fond of any apple-tasting weed, but this one really changed my worldview on fruity tasting strains. Bred by: Tiki Madman Genetics: Apple Gelato x Melonade Taste: 7/10; I’m usually not keen on apple tasting weed, but the gelato overpowered this one to a point where it was tolerable in my book! A very interesting apple profile with an overall ehh taste. I will say that the smoke definitely played a part in the rating with taste though. Smoke: 8/10; This was an interesting smoke. First few puffs, I could taste and smell the gelato. Again a white ash from the blunt which always makes me happy! I would definitely consider this a good strain, however, personally, I would consider mixing this with other weed to give the blunt a unique profile. This strain is still not to be taken lightly because it will sneak up on you.
