Connected Gushers Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

SMELL: 6/10 FLAVOUR: 7.2/10 SMOOTHNESS: 7.8/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 7/10 STRENGTH: 9.1/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 7/10 connected gushers by sticky icky strain review by cannoisseurseections Feeling neutral having had Sticky Icky’s old branded flowers under the name Cryptoboyzz, for one reason or another they have now changed their name to Sticky Icky. Due to rebranding common strains, I haven’t been particularly interested in p*rchasing their new packs, however having seen Connected Gushers become available, and with it being an old favourite, I decided to give a go. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of an unpleasant odour reminiscent of mixed varnish, menthol and a literal permanent marker (not the strain). Behind this uninviting smell I could smell a familiar but pleasantly masked Gelato influenced gas, with undertones of a sweet Kush alongside faint citrus notes, displaying the Gushers genetics. The buds, although having a soft appearance, were strangely of a hard hard density, having a foxtail structure, being a shade of medium to light green, with purple hues, alongside orange hydroponic hairs, and covered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by a balanced infusion of a dominating creamy Gelato gas, accompanied by light citrus and chemical Kush notes, with a faintly sweet essence. Luckily this taste was not displaying any strong remnants of the unpleasant varnish smell mentioned above, although slight chemical and Gelato undertones remained on my tastebuds upon exhaling, hopefully from the Triangle Kush genetics. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside a sweating and dripping resinous oil ring, smoking both partly smooth and tasting partly clean. To conclude, although this was a good attempt at an original Gushers (which is very rare to find now), I wasn’t overly impressed with this being my first Sticky Icky pack. This is due to the unappealing varnish scent and the taste of a slight chemical presence, masking the actual original smell, although to be honest, this bad quality did not seem to compromise the smoothness as anticipated. connected gushers by sticky icky strain review by cannoisseurseections 2 …I do not know enough about sprayed terps or other contaminants to accuse them of such a thing, however the strange smell described definitely fades away and reappears after storing airtight. The owner has put out a statement that this batch wasn’t personally quality checked by themselves, but either way this is their brands name and reputation and in my opinion they shouldn’t be having people work with them pushing this flower out, especially as top shelf. I still have their Bubblegum to review, which on the other hand, smells great and without any concerning extras.
