Gulab Jamun Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review Pt 1

SMELL: 9.2/10 FLAVOUR: 8.6/10 SMOOTHNESS: 8.5/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 8/10 STRENGTH: 9.2/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 8.6/10 Feeling satisfied with the last strain reviewed developed by Cannatique and The World Is Yours Exotics; Zanzibar, I was eager to try out Gulab Jamun, named after a Southern and Central Asian sweet dish. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of a sweet candy aroma, displaying sweet grapes, and cherries. This pleasant, familar sweetness had was complemented by a strong Gelato gas with somewhat spicy notes, alongside light chemical and citrus undertones. The buds were of a hard density, having a boulder structure, being a shade of light to medium green with dark purple hues and accompanying guts, alongside minimal rustic hydroponic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by a rush of sweet citrus candy gas, displaying notes of the anticipated grapes, cherries and lemons, alongside a noticeable Gelato gassy influence. This anticipated taste remained dominant, with faint spicy and Kush related notes starting to develop, causing the candy sweetness to ever so slightly dissipate, although still being retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling as a whole. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light silver, alongside an oozing and leaking resinous oil ring, smoking relatively smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, with Gulab Jamun being another cross of great strains, blending a candy gas alongside a sweet Gelato Kush, I was not left disappointed. With a little overall dialling slightly required, I would definitely get again.

LINEAGE: PLATINUM LEMON CHERRY GELATO X BAKLAVA (Thin Mint Cookies x Sunset Sherbet x Lemon Haze) X (Gelato 41 x Kosher Kush) SMELL: 9.4/10 FLAVOUR: 8.5/10 SMOOTHNESS: 8.3/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 9/10 STRENGTH: 9.2/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 8.5/10 From enjoying the last drop of Gulab Jamun by a collaboration between Cannatique and World Is Yours Exotics, I was interested to see how the most recent dialled in version compared. With the branding referencing a Southern and Central Asian sweet dish. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of an extremely sweet candy and sugary syrup aroma, displaying enticing notes of sweet cherries, blackcurrants and strawberries, with undertones of Haze and citrus, accompanied by a pungent Gelato earthy and chemically gas. The buds were of a hard density, having a hybrid and boulder structure. They were a shade of light to medium green with sporadic hues of purple, alongside short rustic pistils, and covered in a thick layer of illusive trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a pungent earthy, creamy and spicy gas with traits of citrusy lemon, chemicals and haze. This distinctive gas was complemented by a syrupy candy, delivering gentle notes of cherries, strawberries and faint blackcurrants. This pungent earthy candy was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light silver, alongside an oozing and leaking resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I found this recent batch of Gulab Jamun to deliver a tasty Gelato dominant gas infused with notes of haze and citrus alongside a syrupy candy sweetness, performing better than its predecessor. It smoked pleasantly well and ticked a fair amount of boxes. With a little dialling in Gulab Jamun can only be further perfected and remain a great staple to both WIYE and Cannatique.
