Having enjoyed most of Life Is Not Grape’s lineup, I was excited to see how their Lemon dominant strain fared. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of sour OG with dominant notes of lemon infused with pine and chemicals and a hint of rubber. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure.

They were a shade of medium to light deep green, with rustic pistils and absolutely doused in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a creamy Gelato earthiness with chemical and floral traits, infused with faint notes of caramelised onions, menthol and pine, further complemented by strong sweet notes of candy and cherries with very subdued sour lemon citrus undertones.

The taste of this sweeter than expected enjoyable uniqueness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I overall found Lem to deliver an unexpected sweet candy and Gelato dominant profile in comparison to its overly sour lemon OG scent, exhibiting a potential distant Zkittles or other candy oriented lineage. Despite a darker than desired shade of ash, Lem smoked smoothly, ticking most boxes and with a little further dialling in, will remain a popular staple of LING’s lineup.
