With Terphogz undeniably creating and still delivering the best Zkittles on the market, I was excited to be able to try their OZK, which I haven’t had the privilege to have tried before. Upon opening I received a well balanced concoction of sweet grapes with floral notes, combined with a sweet but sour gassy aroma with light citrus traits. This infusion of terpenes complement each other well, equally flourishing, and although both pungent not leaning to any profile in particular. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having both a boulder and typical Zkittlez like structure, being a shade of light green, with light coloured fuzzy hydroponic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by an initial sweet infusion of grapes with sour and pine gassy fuel overtones. This well balanced taste quickly transcends more to the gassy side, leaving dissipating faint grape undertones upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of white to very light silver, alongside an absolutely dripping and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, although I would personally prefer a sweeter finish, this was overall a great OZK. This makes a great strain for OG enthusiasts, with it having a predominantly gassy profile with grape undertones. It ticks all the boxes, and has immaculate ash as well as a gushing oil ring. I can’t wait for a summer drop of Original Z; being my favourite Zkittles.
