Strain Review: Rare Candi by Grandiflora Genetics
Rare Candi Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
SMELL: 8.4/10 FLAVOUR: 7.9/10 SMOOTHNESS: 8.3/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 8/10 STRENGTH: 9.2/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 8/10 Essentially a different phenotype of Doggy Bag, we have Rare Candi. Upon opening I received an overpowering sweet creamy strawberry, grape and slight marzipan aroma, accompanied by peach and gassy undertones. Smelling strangely reminiscent of Bizkits (an older strain). The buds were of a hard density, having a foxtail structure, being a shade of medium golden green, alongside purple and slight peachy pink hues, with rustic hydroponic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by an overpowering Project 4516 influenced gas, with faint but sweet, creamy strawberry and grape undertones, unfortunately not as apparent from the smell, however still displaying the genetics well. The taste remains P4516 dominant, with the sweet undertones slightly dissipating through combustion, however still being retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light to medium silver, alongside a dripping and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting relatively clean. To conclude, although not to my personal preference (due to Project 4516), it smoked adequately well, ticking all boxes, tasted how it was meant to, and will definitely appeal to enthusiasts of P4516 and similar strains alike.True & unbiased topshelf Cali flower reviews.
