With Strawberries N Later harbouring an exotic background of tasty genetics, I was excited to see how they fared together, boasting a high 44.25% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I instantly received an exotic rush of fruity notes consisting of primarily strawberries, alongside creamy undertones infused with bursts of citrus and faint marzipan. The buds were of a medium density, having a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green with sporadic hues of purple, alongside messy rustic pistils and absolutely covered in trichomes.

Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a sweet rush of primarily strawberries with a faint hint of cherries, alongside a creamy and sour tangy citrus earthiness, exhibiting its MAC related lineage. The taste of this creamy strawberry gassiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an oozing and dripping resinous oil. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, although I am not personally a big fan of the taste of MAC related strains, I found Strawberries N Later to deliver its lineage effectively, exhibiting a unique strawberry creamy profile. I found the overall smoke quality could be improved, with it producing an undesirable shade of ash and the taste being let down by bitter and sour tangy undertones. With further dialling in still required, hopefully SNL can be improved and retain a place on JB’s lineup, serving as a good choice for enthusiasts of strawberry dominant strains.
