With one of the leading cultivators on the market; Wizard Trees, collaborating with Bay Area powerhouses Limited Trees and Verzace’s creator; Flavor Designer, I was excited in seeing how their release of this interesting strain fared. With captivating branding and boasting an interesting unique cross, which although confusing, is not to be confused with Limited Tree’s other Verzace, Zkittles and LCG.

Upon opening I instantly received an invitingly unique aroma, primarily displaying musky earthy notes with traits of Cookies, floral Sherbet, fuel and cream. Sweet candy notes of strawberries and light cherries complemented this interesting aroma effectively, alongside guava and citrus undertones. The buds were of a medium to hard density and hybrid structure. They were a shade of light to medium green, with sporadic hues of purple, alongside lightly coloured rustic pistils and absolutely covered in trichomes.

Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a musky, floral and creamy Cookies earthiness with light traits of fuel and menthol, complemented by sweet undertones of a syrupy candy with hints of cherries, guava and strawberries infused with faint notes of spice and citrus. The taste of this floral sweet creamy earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I ultimately found the genetics to complement each other effectively, with neither parent strain dominating one another, but instead creating a unique taste consisting of enjoyable sweet creamy and musky Cookie traits. It ticked all boxes and smoked pleasantly well and with no real dialling in required, Verzace will easily remain a strong staple of Wizard Tree’s lineup.
