Not having had this highly rated strain from Preferred Gardens before, I was interested to see how it fared. Upon opening I instantly received a pungent gassy earthiness, displaying strong notes of Skunk and Gelato with creamy menthol undertones alongside glue, fuel and hazelnut chocolate, complemented by a floral and sweet subdued candy infusion. Smelling reminiscent of Tenco’s Pink Sandy as a reference.

The buds were of a medium density, with an inviting stickiness and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium to dark green, covered in a dark purple coat with attractive violet guts, alongside bright messy rustic pistils, all barely visible behind a universe of gleaming trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a pungent Cookies and Gelato influenced earthiness, alongside an uplifting floral and faintly sweet cherry and berry Sherbet with creamy and spicy undertones. The taste of this sweet unique earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of light to medium grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Znackz to be a uniquely tasty infusion of two classic strains, exhibiting strong traits of its WC and Runtz lineage effectively. It smoked well, ticking most boxes and with a little more dialling in required, Znackz will easily remain a distinctive staple of the Preferred Gardens lineup.
