From thoroughly enjoying the last batch of Zourzop’s Zkitttles in mid 2023, as well as their latest candy releases, I was excited to be able to get my hands on this living soil masterpiece once again. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a unique sweet and tangy infusion of sour grapefruit and faint cherries, alongside a unique gassiness with traits of cream and caramelised onions, smelling distinctively different to the average Zkittles. The buds were of a medium density, having a tidy structure Zkittlez structure.
They were a shade of medium golden green, alongside messy rustic pistils and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a gentle earthy gas with dominant traits of caramelised onions with light chemicals and cream, complemented by floral notes of sour grapefruit infused with sweetened cherries and a hint of strawberries. The taste of this well balanced earthy sweet gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I overall found this batch of Zourzop to smoke pleasantly well, exhibiting a distinctive gassier dominance with varied zesty and caramelised onion traits opposed to the more familiar floral and creamy Zkittles usually encountered. It ticked most boxes and with a little further dialling in will remain a strong staple of Zourzop’s lineup.
