👀: The rosin looked really good when I cracked open the seal. It had a nice, light beige, cream like color and a wet appearance. The texture was in my opinion, perfect, wet but not too wet making it super easy to scoop on my dab tool. The jar art was also really interesting and pretty damn cool. The top sticker had a logo that said “KIP” in pink bubble letters, giving off a spray-paint vibe. It featured a cartoon-style monster with a speech bubble saying “Keepin’ it Bubblin’,” which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the sticker split in half from being in the freezer, so I had to piece it back together for the photo. The wrap-around sticker had a graphic of the White House that went all the way around the jar. It also listed info like “solo source” and the micron range, and was covered with more of those cartoon terp monsters. The presentation was definitely eye catching. 9.7/10
👃: The nose on this jar was really nice. It had a mild tropical, tart like sweet aroma that was subtle rather than loud with soft earthy and floral undertones. While it wasn’t the most striking scent to me personally, it was still well balanced and enjoyable. Honestly when I hear the name of “straw guava” I think it’s very fruity but that’s not the case with this one. I’m not sure I would’ve chosen it based on the aroma alone, but for those who enjoy this type of terp profile, it’s definitely a solid option. 8.3/10
👅: I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this jar, especially considering the smell didn’t initially grab me if i’m being real. That just goes to show, never judge a jar without trying it, you may not like the smell but you might really enjoy the smell. The flavor on this one was really interesting, complex and wasn’t exactly true to its name, “Straw Guava.” You’d expect something like sweet strawberries and tropical guava, maybe a smoothie like vibe based on the name but instead, it opened with a sweet, berry-like note, that shifted into a zesty, tart kick, and finished with a candy-fumes like taste. The fumes taste threw me off but honestly it was really enjoyable. 8.8/10
Overall: This was my first time trying Keepin It Bubblin and it was nice that i was able to try their single source before a collab, even though it wasn’t my usual go to terp profile, it turned out to be a really enjoyable jar that definitely grew on me the more I got into it. The reason I got this jar was because I had never tried Keepin It Bubblin and wanted to give them a try and their jars aren’t too easy to come across so when the opportunity presented itself I had to snap. The presentation was super clean from the creamy light beige color and wet, scoopable texture to the detailed jar art. At first, the nose didn’t blow me away, it leaned more subtle with soft tropical and floral notes but the flavor told a different story. I was genuinely surprised by how complex and unique the taste was. It didn’t exactly give me the “Straw Guava” terp that many expect from the name, but the twist made it more interesting. The high was solid and was decently potent without being overwhelming, something I could easily hit midday and still feel lifted without getting knocked out. As I said before, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this one at first and while I wouldn’t personally grab this specific jar again due to the terp profile, I would 100% grab another jar from Keepin It Bubblin. The quality of the rosin was undeniably good and I can tell I would really love a jar with a terp profile that’s more enjoyable to me. Shoutout to KIB they definitely kept it bubblin’ with this one. 8.8/10
