Trap Private Reserve Sundae Driver Review

The nugs are dense and chonky on this strain. They’re remarkable for thick dark orange hairs, layers of silver and golden trichromes, and significant purple and dark green leafage. The gray/purple and orange coloration stands out when examining the nugs which is consistent with typical Sundae Driver aesthetics. These buds sport a little extra leafage, but still easily check the box for bag appeal 👀 Opening a bag of this strain releases a sweet fruity grape aroma paired with a strong earthy spice scent that reminds me somewhat of nutmeg. The spice on the strain is complex, pungent, and tickles the nose. I found this to be one of those strains where I’m inquisitively smelling the jar every time I open it. Overall, the strain makes me think of warm, overly-spiced, berry cobbler 🥧 The high on the strain is easy and cerebral. I would likely recommend it as a morning or first of the day smoke given that it is a “lighter high”. The strain is soft to the touch but sticky when breaking up. It created a mild to moderate level of kief. When smoking it in cones or joints, it provided a very easy and smooth smoke. 😶‍🌫️ The flavor is consistent with the smell of the strain. It has an initial taste that is fruity with sweet notes of grape followed up by a warm earthy spice that encompasses all of the taste buds. There’s also a layer of creaminess underneath that ties all of the flavors together. All together the terpenes really tickled my tongue and overwhelmed my senses as I was smoking it. 👅 Overall, I would smoke this strain again. The bag appeal and high are good, but the smell and flavor is where this strain is unique. I would think this would be an especially solid strain for casual smokers because of the smell, flavor, light high, and ease to smoke. This is only the second strain I’ve tried by @trap_private_reserve , the first being the Terps and Cakes. Honestly I liked the Terps and Cakes a bit more, but I’m still quite interested in trying some of their other offerings.
