a Pot for Pot just might be the best growing kit for first time homegrowers
a Pot for Pot is an all-in-one cannabis growing system that works indoor with your light of choice, in the greenhouse, or outdoors with just sun and water. Hell, you could even cut the bottom and put ’em in the ground. Let me repeat the best part: Just add water. No fumbling with meeting a feeding schedule, having to keep up with your own ferments, or any of that. Just treat it like any other houseplant and let the plant grow like a weed.
a Pot for Pot is available in several sizes ranging from ½ gallon to 2 gallon to 5 gallon to 35 gallon – just depends how big of a plant you’re trying to grow and how much space you have. You’ll either have your seeds already, buy seeds from one of their partners, or buy seeds from the breeder or seedbank of your choice. If you get a chance, attend a cannabis seed swap – these events are a great look at cannabis culture and the hands down best spot to get genetics and hear the real story behind them.
a Pot for Pot is a pot growing kit for homegrowers
A product this agnostic to the ongoing battle between indoor “growers” and outdoor “farmers” in the increasingly divided world of cannabis deserves a moment of commendation. They’ve received an award at the recent Emerald Cup for most innovative product – and I concur that it is well deserved. Homegrows come in all shapes and sizes, and anything that makes it easier for people to grow at home is a win for the cannabis culture. The industry suits that want you to buy their $100 eighths in holographic bags, they don’t like it.Setting up a Pot for Pot

a Pot for Pot Review: The little one
I started the provided seeds but due to user error aka an unexpected trip – only one survived. That dosidos autoflower grew up in the 1 gallon pot and despite its rough childhood, the warm environ in which it found itself encompassed soon allowed it to grow. This was my very first autoflower grow and the variations in leaf growth and internodal structure and branching are enough to get me hooked. By the time my little cannabis bonsai started flowering, I realized that I had made a labeling mistake and the seed that sprouted was in fact the Durban Poison autoflower. I was so happy, I did a little jig and sang my plant a happy song. It may or may not have been by Pharrell. My total yield turned out to be a handful of grams, but that was due to post processing issues stemming from higher than anticipated humidity and an extended absence. Going through the stereotypical firsttimer’s autoflower grow experience just reinforced my thought that a Pot for Pot is useful. The 5 gallon pot – not anywhere near the biggest that you can get from a Pot for Pot btw – became a vessel for a lucky transplant because its destined seedling got slugged. I blessed one unknown gender Filipino x Brother’s Keeper from The Seedery with this home and it became a monster – outdwarfing all of my other plants and all of its siblings. I just wanted to see what would come about, and was fully anticipating collecting pollen from the plant but it ended up forming brilliant buds, which were open air pollinated by males nearby. I had such a fun time seeing this giant complete its life cycle. I did not chop until the plant started dying on its own. I got hundreds of seeds for next year, and for my homies who are also hunting Asian landraces. The kit comes with materials for making IPM sprays if they’re needed. Knock on wood, I haven’t needed them. I noticed many predator insects on my plants and I’m very happy with them making a home on my plant. For my personal grow, I might consider using the 5 gallon to house two sisters next year. We’ll see! Being able to reuse parts for future grows is part of what makes a Pot for Pot so great for first time growers. Seriously, put on some Nikes and just do it. Look, it is exactly what it is. What you see is what you get. Advanced growers can work this into their grow but they’ll end up throwing certain things out or making certain mods or buying quantity elsewhere for cheaper. For the ever-growing homegrow market though? This is the perfect and dare I say natural first step for the type of grower that is curious on doing a dare-i-say-it hybrid approach. They don’t want to go full back-to-the-land and they want to make sure they’re starting with the right things and they don’t want to spend hours on forums, pay for a class or e-book, or any of that stuff – they just want to get started growing because at the end of the day… nothing is a substitute for hands on time with the plant Watch out for an interview with a Pot for Pot to see what sprouted this product.
