Never having had any flowers from Highmart before, I was interested in seeing how their Jordan lineup of undisclosed candy crosses fared, starting with Type 2. With the innovative branding being different shoe boxes of the popular Jordan’s. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a floral sweet candy. Displaying mildly sweet bubblegum notes consisting of strawberries and cherries, complemented by a Gelato influenced floral earthiness with faint notes pine and cream. The buds were of a medium density and had a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of light and medium green with hues of violet and attractive pink and purple guts, coated in a thick layer of almost white trichomes, with minimal rustic pistils. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by an earthy and mildly sweet creamy gas. Delivering dominant floral and earthy creamy notes of Gelato with very faint traits of pine, complemented by a light bubblegum infusion of strawberries and cherries. The taste of this mildly sweet floral gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
To conclude, I overall found Type 2 to deliver a fairly pleasant candy profile with distinctive creamy and floral Gelato undertones. With a little further dialling in, Type 2 can be further improved and remain a strong staple of High Mart’s lineup.
