Not having had this fairly new released Zkittlez dominant strain from Life Is Not Grape before, I was excited to see how their rendition fared. With the branding referencing LING’s mascot with a slight horror theme.

Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a familiar Zkittlez aroma. Displaying sweet floral notes with hints of grapefruit, cherries and cream. The buds were of a medium to soft density and had a typical Zkittles structure. They were a shade of light green, with pronoun messy rustic pistils, harbouring a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell.

Delivering a perfect Zkittlez taste of sweet floral and creamy notes, consisting of cherries infused with hints of grapefruit complemented by smooth creamy and slightly earthy overtones. The taste of this exotic infusion was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I overall found Lame Z to deliver a perfect rendition of Zkittlez, displaying familiar exotic creamy notes, smoking exceptionally well without any flaws. Unsure what or even if there actually is a second strain crossed, but I would guess it is either Zkittlez crossed with itself or OZK. With no real dialling in required, Lame Z will remain a strong staple of LING’s lineup and remain one of the leading Zkittlez profiles on the market.
