Next on Zourzop’s candy line up is Zoppy and Shadow, this time being a cross between Black Cherry Pie and Pink Runtz, opposed to an LCG cross. With the the branding referencing Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog series, alongside the brands iconic cartoon Zourzop mascot. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a rush of candy, displaying a creamy earthiness infused with syrupy notes of cherry alongside a hint of menthol. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green with a slightly aged golden coat, alongside minimal messy rustic pistils and coated in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by an equal infusion of sweet candy consisting of cherries and strawberries, alongside a creamy Gelato earthiness with light traits of chemical, pine and menthol.

The taste of this earthy candy was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Zoppy and Shadow to deliver a creamy and earthy dominant candy profile, smoking pleasantly well despite arriving fairly aged like their other recent candy releases. With this in mind, it would have potentially scored higher if fresher. With further dialling in required, Z&S can be further improved and remain an enjoyable earthy candy cross on the Zourzop lineup.
