Next to review from Tenco is another relatively new release of theird, Angel Delight. With the branding in 7g glass jars, updated from their plain “not for resale, sample” labelling. With it named after a sweet creamy multicoloured sponge cake. Upon opening I instantly received a unique blend of musky notes with cream and fuel, alongside light fragrant traits with pine and candy.
Displaying strong notes of The White, from its White Tahoe Cookie lineage. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green, alongside hues of purple with attractive pink and violet guts, alongside minimal rustic pistils, all barely visible behind a thick layer of almost white trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a creamy earthiness with traits of chemicals, musk, menthol and vanilla, alongside a faint sweetly fragrant infusion of cake and candy.
The taste of this creamy, fragrant, chemical earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light to medium grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked fairly smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Angels Delight to deliver a very unique profile, exhibiting distinctive musky traits of its White Tahoe Cookies lineage, alongside fragrant, creamy chemical notes.
It smoked fairly well, ticking some boxes and with further dialling in required, can easily remain a classic staple of Tenco’s lineup, however may not be to everybody’s preference, ultimately serving to enthusiasts of unique strains.
