RSX carries a pungent aroma that carries strong notes of funk, purple, candy, and cream. It has a funky candy profile that just keeps your nose to the jar as the scent is addicting. The creaminess at the end definitely adds a beautiful touch and overall is an amazing smell of a strain. The nugs were fresh and broke down properly with no dryness.
Flavor brings out a gassy taste which is a nice surprise. The aftertaste is a semi sweet candy finish and the exhale is pretty powerful expanding the lungs but carries no harshness. RSX was also leaving a funky scent on my lips similar to when you smoke a GMO and it leaves a muskiness on your lips.
RSX is a strain for those looking for extreme relaxation. It’s high is calm and slows the mind down making me focused on whatever I need to. It carries a slump feeling so there’s really no uplifting or energetic effects. It has some nice euphoria, but mostly a heavy stoned high that leaves you sedated and happy to be wherever you are.
To wrap it up, RSX was such a good strain that I ended up getting a half ounce of it. I did get a little tired of it after the third eighth but I will definitely pick it up again. It’s aroma and flavor is pungent, while the high packs of powerful relaxing and sedating punch. Definitely one of my top 5 strains from Maven. Cheers 💨
