Not having had any flowers from Labs Exotics before, I was excited to be able to see how their rendition of Zkittlez fared. Upon opening I instantly received a familiar exotic Zkittlez aroma, displaying refreshing notes of grapefruit infused with subdued sweet notes of cherries with a complimentary creaminess. The buds were of a soft to medium density and had a typical messy Zkittlez structure.
They were a shade of light green, alongside light messy rustic pistils and enriched in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by floral and light zesty grapefruit overtones, alongside a creamy earthiness with faint notes of cherries.
The taste of this floral zesty creamy infusion was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling, dissipating ever so slightly leaving a dry earthiness. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Labs Exotics rendition of Zkittlez to deliver a slightly diluted grapefruit influenced Zkittlez profile, leaving dry earthy remnants upon exhaling.
Despite this it smoked fairly well, ticking some boxes and with further dialling in, hopefully can be further improved and remain a staple of Labs Exotics lineup.
