Shauncron’s Banana Bread Rosin Review
Appearance: Like a bright glistening puddle of sunshine! ☀️This is some beautifully cured rosin that just glows with perfection. It’s my favorite consistency of cakey batter that is just super easy to work with. Out of the fridge you can chunk at it pretty easily but if you leave it out to room temp for a little bit it’ll start to sweat and get this creamy pillowy texture that almost reminds me of whipped butter. It’s truly a beautiful extract.
Aroma: The smell on this one is complex but sweet! It starts off with a bunch of overripe bananas and then hits you right in the shnozz with some fresh baked snickerdoodle cookies that were somehow soaked in high octane gasoline. It’s pretty darn ferocious with its intensity. It’s a super distinct scent that really stands out to me. It’s really sweet but the gas is in the for sure just not as much. This one has such a high terp content it almost stings the nose to smell it too long but I must love the abuse because I keep putting my nose in the jar. 👃
Taste/smokeability: Unlike the smell, the flavor on this is really gas forward for sure. It actually surprised me because it hit me right away with that classic OG expansion. Pretty instantly I tasted a pinesol soaked forest but then the other part of the profile pokes through with some fried bananas cinnamon and cookie dough essences that remind me of Christmas. 🎅 Regardless of the OG expansion it is a buttery smooth dab but you gotta but some respect on her because those OG crosses will take you out if you go too ham.
Effect: This stuff right here will take you out like an ambien milkshake. It makes my eyes droop almost instantly. I feel like I just want a lot of carbs and a nap. 😂 My muscles start to relax and my toddler induced headache is slowly starting to recede. This is some powerful medicine for sure. Appetite stimulation is moderate but not super overpowering. What is strong is the urge to sleep and sleep deeply. 🥱 Duration on this one is pretty long capping off after about 2 hours.
Definitely try this is you’ve had a long day and you want to unplug because this will get you there.
Overall: The thing about good kushes is that they have always been the plants that have consistently humbled me in the past. I’ve been smoking a long time but once in a while I’ll find a strain (usually an OG cross) that just so thoroughly puts me on my ass that it makes me have more reverence for the plant than I already do. There’s a lot of watered down genetics these days but this selection definitely is not that. Props to the extraction team!Super blessed that Billygoatmelts let me try this gear because I have to say it’s one of the best Rosin’s I’ve had all year by far. Can’t wait to see what else they bring to the table because I know regardless of what it is it’s going to be high quality.
