Aroma~
If you are looking for a sour and earthy smoke then you found it here. The aroma of this strain is definitely unique with a bright earthy profile mixed with a pungent sour overlay. The smell is consistent on every inhale and will shake up your nose. It’s a basic smell with only those 2 traits but it’s very true to the name with that sourness. Update: the flower itself looks pretty good but it is dry and the breakdown was not pleasant. But it still smoked clean surprisingly.
Flavors~
The aroma to flavor transition is great with an earthy and sour taste. I was even getting really good flavor off a bong that wasn’t newly cleaned. The exhale is smooth and the lung pressure is a light to medium powered one. The smoke will punch your lungs up a little bit but nothing too crazy. I liked the flavor but I did get bored of it after smoking it all day because it’s just two flavors, earthy and sour.
Effects~
Zours is a good hybrid smoke that increased my motivation and gave me a good amount of energy to complete tasks. It still has relaxing body effects but it’s not heavy or sedating enough to be a night smoke. The head high is a nice euphoric hybrid buzz that keeps me focused and my eyes don’t feel heavy at all which could be good for those who do not want to slump. Effects were at a medium potency and it kept me where I wanted to be throughout the day.
Overall this was an interesting strain to try because I feel like you don’t get too much earthy sour profiles like this one out there. I would keep this strain around for day smoking as it kept me focused and wanting to be productive. I definitely wouldn’t choose this at the end of the night as it doesn’t have heavy effects to knock you out. I’m going to give it an 81% because I feel like it’s not the craziest smoke out there so it’s not gonna earn the 90th percentile but it checked off all the boxes from a consistent aroma and flavor to effects that were great for day smoking and being productive. The flower being dry definitely brought its score down. Cheers 💨
