Aroma–
If you are into that classic GMO aroma that smells funky and pungent then you would like this. Right when I open the jar it smells like some type of seasoned food, and it kept reminding me of five guys cajun fries. It’s a little brighter of a smell than most GMO’s that I have smoked, but that could be from the other cross I never tried which is “The Answer”. I have never smoked that strain so if you guys have any information on it please let me know in the comments. My favorite part of the aroma was when I broke the nugs apart it released a very pungent in your face smell.
Flavor-
The flavor profile on this strain definitely could have been better as it didn’t leave me too excited. It has that classic GMO taste with maybe a little more sweetness than usual, but I just overall couldn’t grasp a really strong flavor profile that kept my pallet happy. It’s a quick flavor with the aftertaste basically being nonexistent.
With that said it still carries a little bit of that funky baked cookie/mossy flavor and it’s a very smooth smoke, especially for a GMO. No harshness and good lung expansion.
Structure-
Dense and tight nugs that have a dry feel from the outside but when broken down it creates a fresh and fluffy consistency.
Effects-
The effects do not disappoint on this strain. Of course you will get that relaxing and pretty sedating high that comes from the GMO genetic but there was also a decent amount of hybrid energy to make it a little more versatile. It helped aid in my sleep pretty well, but maybe not as much as other GMO cuts I’ve had. There is a body buzz from head to toe that is consistent and also a medium pressure behind the eyes that is very noticeable. If I was on my feet doing something for trying to be productive I didn’t feel too slumped which can be nice for people who want a little more versatility for a GMO, but could disappoint some people who are looking for the knockout couch lock high from the strain.
Recap-
Overall I’m glad I got to try this strain because I never got to experience the genetic called “The Answer”. I also am a big fan of GMO as that’s probably my favorite strain of all time if we are talking about legacy strains. The aroma and effects were my favorite part with the flavor being disappointing. I did find myself comparing it to other GMO cuts that I have had which probably wasn’t a good thing, I just kept saying in my head, “ this is good but that other GMO I had”. Don’t get it twisted though I would definitely still smoke this as the aroma and high is solid.
Cheers 💨
