Happy Day Farms Government Oasis Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Appearance: These medium green nugs have such dense trichome coverage that they look like they’re coated with Parmesan cheese. A closer look reveals that the #farmcutcanna minimal processing approach has preserved those trikes completely. Vacuum sealed at peak cure, the overall condition is optimal.
Aroma: Prepare to make a scene, because this is LOUD. The room is filled with garlic, truffle, earth and chemical solvent fumes. Restaurant garbage, acetone and furniture polish add more gas, while honeydew, dough, floral perfume, grape & honeysuckle blossom soften the edges and lend complexity to the profile. Grinding brings more sweetness alongside floral chemical notes.
Flavor: The dry hit combines savory garlic and dinner notes with rose, berry, apple, sweet gas and a mixed floral bouquet. The garlic goes right over to the smoke, where it’s joined by deep earth, toast, black pepper and glue/chemical flavors. There’s excellent detail and variation from inhale to exhale. Exhales range from lemon to sour candy on the finish. Flavors of hardwood, tobacco and toasted nuts define late inhales.
Experience: She hits quickly and with gusto, but is surprisingly functional given the genetics. It’s relaxing for sure, but very clear headed; a testament to growing practices and soil quality. This allows consumers to achieve a variety of objectives from afternoon chores to having dinner and playing games with friends, to winding down for a good night’s sleep. This is a high grade experience.
