WaliPini Seed also shared how he named the three cultivars featured in this post: Prom Night, Tanzanite, and Purple Lemon Cake. From the breeder’s mouth to your eyeballs:

Prom night was named such because it had so many colors including pink, purple, bright green, and more. It was like dresses you would see at prom. Tanzanite is a blueish purplish gemstone that the buds made me think of because of the way they glistened and the fact that they were precious to me, lol. Purple lemon cake is simple enough: It’s purple and has a very strong lemon smell with a sweet exhale.
