Edible Review: Delights Strawberry ‘Singles’ by Rose Delights

The Strawberry ‘Singles’ by Rose Delights are among the best retail market edibles that I’ve come across.  The attention to detail in both product and packaging is evident.  I admit some bias here.  I was impressed with the brand from their Instagram profile and managed to get an interview with co-founder Nathan Cozzolino and throughout the conversation, it was clear that Rose Delights is committed to brining a top shelf product to quality conscious consumers.  I was thrilled to receive a few boxes in the mail and they have reinvigorated my love of fancy infused candy.
The edibles themselves are a Turkish delight base, a confectionary made famous from the Chronicles of Narnia story. These sweets have a firm but soft chewy consistency and lightly dusted with confectioners’ sugar.  The taste evokes memories of fresh strawberries at a farmer’s market stand at the height of the season.  There’s no cloying sweetness, just a natural taste of the local strawberries that were used to make these ‘Singles’.
As the package reads: “Peak season Albion strawberries, infused with one milligram of THC.  The perfect microdose for a gentle high.”
As you’ve just learned, the ‘Singles’ refers to the strength of these edibles.  At 1mg per Delight, they are on the low side, perfect for some, too low for others, ideal for those new to edibles or for gifting.  They are infused with single strain flower rosin and boast a simple understandable ingredient list.
They come in a low waste cardboard box, hand packed and pleasing to the touch with the embossed lettering, again making this a lovely gift in lieu of the typical bottle of wine for housewarming or host gifts.
Overall, I love these edibles, even if I need to eat a number of them to get lift off. Some pictures below, I’ll post another shortly as I realized too late that I ate them all before getting a picture of the actual candy.
