N.S. 12 Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) ReviewSMELL: 8.7/10 FLAVOUR: 7.1/10 SMOOTHNESS: 8.1/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 9.1/10 STRENGTH: 9/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 7.5/10 Not having previously had NS12 before, being a World Is Yours Exotics rendition of RS11, I was interested in seeing how it fared. With the branding being a play on the original abbreviation, and standing for No Snitchin’ to 12. Upon opening I instantly received a familiarly pleasant array of floral notes consisting of guava, alongside an earthy, chemical Sherbet gas, and light traits of soap. With the overall scent smelling more reminiscent of Zoap than RS11. The buds were of a very hard density and hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green behind an attractive layer of violet, with bright protruding rustic pistils and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a floral induced sherbet and earthy gas with light chemical traits, infused with extremely subdued notes of guava. The taste of this earthy and sherbet dominant gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced fluffy ash being a shade of almost white to very light silver, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, with the genetics of RS11 naturally fading away with time, as with many other classic strains, the once sought after traits are unfortunately fairly diluted, with N.S.12’s overall taste resulting in a fairly earthy dominant Sherbet gas. Despite this unfortunate factor it did smoke pleasantly well, ticking a fair amount of boxes and with some further dialling in, or even a possible future Zkittles addition to the lineage, hopefully NS12 can be transformed into something more captivating.
