996 Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

@the_mechanics_farmny’s version of @lifeisnotgrape’s 996 is incredibly potent and has a distinct aroma. The 996 is an exclusive strain created by crossing Gelatti with Kush Mints 11 and Georgia Pie. When I opened the jar, I immediately noticed the bud structure resembling the legendary Georgia Pie, with clustered trichomes surrounding the pistils that had a bloody orange color. The nugs themselves had a vibrant iceberg lettuce color. The dominant scent is a minty, ammonia fuel aroma from the Kush Mints, with a subtle fruity undertone from the Gelatti. The taste profile consists of a sweet, floral, og dank flavor with herbal mint and fuel notes. On the inhale and exhale, there’s a strong fuel taste that leaves a tingle on the back end. The ash report indicates a ratio of 60/40, with more salt-like ash than pepper-like ash. The effects of this strain can last for about 2 hours or more, and it’s definitely a couch locker. I experienced the buzz after around 7-8 pulls, and it had a moderate onset. The high provided a moderate cerebral and body experience, helping me zone in and focus on my job. After about 2.5 hours, the high started to fade, resulting in increased munchies and yawning. Overall, @the_mechanics_farmny’s 996 strain held me down for a solid 2-3 hours. The taste and aroma were in line with each other, and the cultivar’s appeal closely resembled the original 996. I want to give a shoutout to @the_mechanics_farmny for his impressive take on this legendary cultivar. 4/5 . .
