Blue #16 Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

blue 16 by high noon cultivation strain review by pnw_chronic 2The Blue 16 has beautiful bag appeal. The buds are an enchanting mix of dazzling hues. The base color is forest green but the buds are completely covered in a dark, midnight purple leafage that becomes a more vivid purple when the buds are broken open. The pistils consist of thick, string-like orange fibers that wrap around the outside of each nug. The trichomes have long stalks and collect in large groups, creating a fuzzy frosting that encrusts the entire surface area 😍 The nose on Blue 16 is excellent. It’s a sweet, sugary aroma mixed with a doughy, cream and cookie fragrance. It has delicate notes of candied fruit and spiced nuttiness, along with an undercurrent of faint herbal earthiness. Breaking the buds open releases a burning gas aroma mixed with sugary cream. The ground product smells like roasted petrol and cookie dough 🍬 The taste on the Blue 16 is outstanding. It starts of with a tart, candied flavor that spreads across the tongue with sugary sweetness before giving way to a rich, yeasty doughiness. The flower has an undertone of robust, herbal earth that becomes more tangible the further down the joint burns, leaving a strong earthy and bitter cocoa aftertaste 🍪 The effect on Blue 16 is noteworthy. It’s a considerable high that sets in quickly with an overall feeling of euphoria and a building pressure in the forehead. The pressure slowly spreads through the body quickly giving the user a blissful feeling of relaxation without feeling too weighted. The flower is dense with light stickiness and creates a minor amount of kief when ground. It burns perfectly and smoothly all the way down 😶‍🌫️ All in all, the Blue 16 is a fantastic cultivar. It manages to check all of the boxes easily, while providing an overall enjoyable smoke. The bag appeal is great, the smell and flavor are desirable, and the high feels wonderful without completely locking the consumer into the couch. I’ve been working my way through some of High Noons strains recently and it’s been a really delightful process. Stellar work all around on this one 🔥
