Never having had any flowers from Relentless Melts before, I was excited to see how this small batch of Buscemi fared. With the branding referencing the famous actor, for obvious reasons lol. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a nose tingling rush of fizzy grapes complemented by floral sweetened notes of blackcurrant, apples, cream and light menthol. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light to medium green, with hues of purple, harbouring attractive pink and violet guts, alongside rustic pistils and showered in a frosted universe of trichomes.
Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering sweet and faintly sour notes of grapes, with light notes of blueberries, blackcurrant and apples, complemented by a creamy, faint citrus earthiness. The taste of this grape creaminess was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, although not being a huge fan of grape strains, I was extremely impressed with the overall taste of Buscemi, with creamy sweet, faint citrus notes complementing the Grape profile well. It smoked exceptionally, ticking all boxes and with no dialling in necessarily required, will remain a distinctive staple of Relentless Melts lineup, catering to enthusiasts of grape and unique profiles in general.
