Gas Basket has astonishing bag appeal. Its a bewitching purple and black color gradient with singular dark green leaves jutting out here and there. The nugs appear fluffy, formed with rounded, nodular subsections, but they are actually fairly dense. Each bud is engulfed in a conglomeration of shimmering trichome coverage. The trichomes collect together in such a way that the stalks and heads intertwine, creating large, crystallized areas that are entirely frosted over 😍
The aroma on GB is enchantingly exquisite. It’s a pungent pepper and kerosene fragrance mixed with a rich, sweetened dough resulting in a smell that is akin to a basket of freshly baked cinnamon rolls splashed with gasoline. The gassy side of the aroma is resonant and complex with layers of musk, skunk, and spice, while the yeasty side of the aroma is warm and vibrant, with sweet, almost chocolatey notes. Breaking the flower down releases more sweet dough, rubber, and pepper scents 🥐
The taste on the GB is just as decadent and deep as the scent. It has a peppery, full-bodied diesel flavor that is piquant and spiced, with an undertone of sapid, sweetened yeastiness that teases the taste buds. The doughy side intensifies as the flower burns, strengthening and adding robust notes of cinnamon and cardamom. As the pastry-like flavor increases, so too does the sharpness and acridity of the gassy side of the profile, elevating the taste into this divine flavor that just gets more raunchy and delectable as it burns ⛽️
GB has a remarkable effect. The flower generates some light headedness matched with a tactile headband feeling and some soft body pressure. It stimulates the senses and soothes the muscles without too much couch-lock. The flower is minimally sticky and produces a minor amount of large grain kief when ground.
