Gelonade hits the nose with a complex mix of citrus, gas, earthiness, zest, sour funk, bitterness, sweet pepper, and a musky twist. The aroma reminds me of that bitter seasoning packet from maruchan noodles, or even those frozen lemonade concentrates you’d find in the freezer aisle. On the breakdown, the smell shifts it starts zesty and citrusy but quickly turns gassy, rich, and loud, with that citrus still lingering in the background.The inhale brings out a bold mix of citrus zest, sour earth, funk, bitter muskiness it’s layered and sharp. The exhale leans more sour-floral with earthy, zesty, funky, and sweet undertones. Flavor-wise, it’s like zesting a fresh lemon, sprinkling some sugar on it, and taking a bite.
You get that intense zesty citrus kick upfront with a bit of sweetness rounding it out in the back.The joint burned clean with white ash and a solid oil ring. The smoke itself was smooth and easy on the lungs. The high is uplifting, euphoric, and spacey. You’ll feel a subtle pressure in your head that makes it feel both light and heavy at the same time especially around the eyes. Your body feels airy, almost weightless, but with a relaxed undertone. While writing this, I noticed myself hyper-focusing and then randomly zoning out. I’d say this is a great midday-to-evening strain. Perfect for a nature adventure or just vibing with friends.
