Bronson Farms Haley’s Comet Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

@bronsonfarms presents his take on the exclusive Haley’s Comet cultivar, which I had heard great things about. Every time I try to purchase it, it’s always sold out. Fortunately, I had the chance to get it directly from @bronsonfarms himself on 4/20. This particular version of Haley’s Comet originated from a Piff bagseed, whereas the one I saw online was a skunk variant. @whateverthatscool found & popped the bagseed in 2005 from a bag from the home of the haze, Washington Heights. One of the main highlights of this strain is its visual appeal. Just by looking at it, you can see the resemblance to Piff and Black Haze, with its signature saffron-colored pistils, kiwi-colored leaves, and well-trimmed nug structure. The aroma of Haley’s Comet is piffy, with hints of ⛪️ frankincense, earthiness, and ammonia fuel. On the palate, it offers woody oak and pinene flavors, accompanied by subtle hints of cider, frankincense, and herbal undertones. When it comes to the effects, Haley’s Comet delivers a heavy and intense cerebral high, with a moderate body high. The high tends to last for about three hours, and I smoked 1.2g using elements papers. The smoking experience itself was delightful, with a smooth inhale of frankincense and oak, followed by a soothing exhale 😮‍💨. The ash report showed an even distribution of salt and pepper, with a 50/50 ratio. Overall, Haley’s Comet ☄️ made a deep impact and left a great first impression on me. The effects, visual appeal, and aroma are the main highlights of this strain, while the smoking experience and palate provided a reasonable correlation with the scent and effects.
